Unlike with our walk-through metal detectors, we no longer have overstaffing or understaffing issues.
With Evolv Insights® analytics and reporting, we are able to take a much more strategic approach to managing staff—when and where they should be. The old system gave us the gross number of people who went through security scanning. The Express system gives us peak times of entry and the number of false positives.
I really like the analytics we get from Evolv Insights® around student arrival numbers and times at different entrances, system detection performance, and alarm statistics...I review them every day and plan to put together regular reports to present to the school board. We also can use the analytics to determine staffing resources at each of our school entrances.
